SAFECode offers several ways that members can be involved with the organization. By way of Working Groups, the SAFECode community can contribute to peer exchange and learning. Below are the details on each of the Working Groups.

BY THE NUMBERS:

Join this group to help develop and conduct member company surveys regarding secure development practices, the findings of which will be published in an annual report and will feed the idea hopper.

FUZZING EMBEDDED SYSTEMS:

Join this group to discuss Fuzzing, an effective technique for finding robustness and resiliency issues in software that may have security implications.

SKILLS PATH FRAMEWORK:

Join this group to share best practices and delve into how SAFECode can provide a skills path framework which would further the knowledge and training across member product teams.

UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL SECURE CODE TRAINING:

In recent past, SAFECode President Eric Baize (Dell) has repeatedly pointed out the lack of secure development-oriented classes at the undergrad level. Join this group for a great opportunity to step forward and collaborate with academia.
