European cybersecurity requirements are rapidly moving from legislation to implementation. For software and connected-product developers, this creates practical questions about secure development, vulnerability management, conformity assessment, technical documentation, and maintaining compliance throughout a product’s lifecycle.

SAFECode is pleased to support and participate in the 2027 EU Cyber Acts Conference, taking place March 23–25, 2027, at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s in Brussels. We expect to have several conference participants and session speakers from SAFECode member companies will be talking about “Secure by Design” and the importance of secure software development processes.

The conference brings together ICT product developers, software and product security leaders, regulators, policymakers, certification bodies, evaluation laboratories, and standards experts to examine Europe’s evolving cybersecurity framework and its implications for organizations around the world.

Key areas of discussion will include the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme on Common Criteria (EUCC), and other cybersecurity-related standards and legislation. Sessions will explore how organizations can translate regulatory requirements into effective product-security practices, align compliance efforts across overlapping frameworks, and prepare for approaching implementation deadlines.

The program begins March 23 with a Special Focus Day featuring EU Cyber Policy Day and IoT Cyber Compliance Day. The main EU Cyber Acts Conference follows March 24–25,

For organizations that develop or sell software and connected products in Europe, the conference offers an opportunity to better understand what emerging requirements will mean in practice, and how secure development programs can support compliance, certification, and market access.
