I just wanted to share a quick update on the Security Engineering Training by SAFECode program. Thank you to everyone who contacted us with feedback over the past few weeks. We are very happy to learn that you are finding the training material helpful. Based on your feedback, we have added the capability to download the course videos so that they can be posted on internal corporate sites alongside other training materials. To download courses, you will need to register on the site. Once registered, you will see a link to “Download Video” on each course page in the gray box to the right of the video.
Registration will also provide you the added benefit of being able to leave comments on the courses. Our hope is that the public comments will allow both SAFECode and participants to identify any parts of the course that may need updated or expanded. We will revisit each course for updates as appropriate, but in the meantime, we hope the comments can help supplement our material.
We are already working on new courses for the site and next month I should be able to preview what is coming up next. We are also working on adding some new resources to help with training program implementation – so stay tuned!
